The best thing you can do to secure your WordPress installation, next to making sure everything is up to date, and using complicated passwords, is to make sure your "admin" Username is not the default "admin". If it is - go change it. It will make it nearly impossible for some hacker to guess your login credentials. Here's a link to instructions on how to do that:
