If you decide to cancel your MacHighway Hosting service, you will need to submit a Cancellation Request from your MacHighway client area, found by logging in at Machighway.com. This is for security reasons, as once cancelled, your account data will be deleted, and may not be recoverable.

Finding your My Services section
Once you are logged in, you can access the My Services section of your client area. There are a few ways you can get there.
- There is a block labeled Services in the center of the home page. Click on it.
- You can click on + View All in the Your Active Products/Services summery towards the bottom of the page.
- Or, you can click on the service in question in the Your Active Products/Services summery.
- In the upper menu bar, you will find Services. Click it, and then choose My Services from the drop down menu.
Submitting a Cancellation Request
Regardless of what option you choose, you should now be at you My Services page. Find the service you wish to cancel and click anywhere on the row, except the domain name. This will open the Service Management page.
This page will look different, depending on the type of service (this example is a hosting plan). However, no matter the service type, there will be an Actions menu on the left hand side.
In this menu, you will find the option to Request Cancellation. Click this to proceed.
Fill out the short form and choose whether you wish to cancel immediately or at the end of the current term.
If you are cancelling a hosting service and the domain is registered with us, you will also be asked if you wish to cancel the auto renewal of your domain. If you do not wish to keep the domain for other uses, you can cancel it as well.
If you are cancelling your services purchased within the last 30 days, please also submit a ticket so we can refund the payment.
Cancel your Cancellation Request
If you submit a cancellation request for a service, but change your mind, you will need to contact support to remove the request from the system before the cancellation date.
Once a service is cancelled, the content may be deleted. Once an account is deleted, we may not be able to restore it. For this reason, you should only request cancellation for services that you are certain that you will not need again.
